Hendo VS Spider @ 205 who wins?

Hendo was packing more flab on his abs at 185 in the Shields fight than he was packing at 207 to fight Fedor. Complete aberration. He would murder Shields in a rematch. The first round is how a Dan Henderson vs. Jake Shields fight would go most of the time..the rest of the fight is how Jake Shields vs. an out of shape guy, with a severe back injury coming off a long layoff who blew his load goes. Mostly anybody who has watched more than a few Dan Henderson fights agree that Dan was 1) out of shape 2) gassed way too early, not typical for him 3) had back problem 4) would kill Jake if given a rematch..but it's water under the bridge.

I like Jake Shields and look for people not to discredit him...but, it was an aberration. If they were booked in a rematch..i would pick Henderson with as much confidence as a picked him in their first fight...and that is 100% confidence.

I'll give Jake his due credit, because it is Dan Henderson and i much bigger guy..and surviving the beatdown at the start was actually more impressive to me than the final result because it was obvious Dan was not right after the first round...but i never ever would use that fight against Dan Henderson.

You can't say he would murder him in a rematch because Shields beat him fair and square last year and Hendo hasn't improved since then.

excuses and injuries are just things people like to use when not coming prepared into a fight. seriously. anyones who has see dan fights knows he is not as young as he once was.look at how he looked at the end of the franklin fight. the point to the shields fight was dan got carried away in the first thinking he was gonna finish shields and paid for it the remainder of the fight. shields is no slouch on the ground and his wrestling and jj are top notch.would dan win in a reamatch, sure in mma anything can happen however there is a reason gsp didnt try grounding shields. in the end rarely is the case an injury is the reason why one fighter may lose to another. nog may have been sick prior to the mir fight but mir would of still won. timmy had an injured back goin into the randy fight (wich he got surgery afterwards for) but would of still lost. for injuries someone should talk to franklin who has been able pull off wins during fights he had seriously been injured in.
