Bellator Lightweight Champion Eddie Alvarez will look to extend a seven-fight win streak when he faces Michael Chandler at Bellator 54 on Saturday, October 15th, the promotion announced this afternoon.

The event will be held at the Boardwalk Hall Ballroom in Atlantic
City, NJ -- the fourth straight fight for Alvarez on the upper East
Coast. It will air on MTV2.

As long as Eddie protects his balls, he should win no problem, TKO.

From today's announcement:

"Eddie suffered an injury that will keep him out of our October 15th
show at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City," said Bellator Chairman &
CEO Bjorn Rebney. "Eddie Alvarez has a huge heart and if there was any
way for him to fight on the 15th, I know he would. Ed's in spectacular
condition, so both of us are hopeful that this fight can potentially
still occur later this fall."

According to the announcement, the championship five-rounder is still
possible for season five, which concludes in late November.
