Read the results and it seemed like everything went as expected...except JDS-Carwin going to a decision...was Carwin even competitive? i saw there was a 30-26 score. Could've been stopped in the first. Carwin actually had the stamina to make it through 3 and landed 1 or decent punches, but no it wasn't competitive. Carwin's tried to take him down a few times but he has a totally unexplosive shot

| i always said if carwin lost weight/power and gained stamina in the process he would have beaten lesnar. After tonight i take that back. To be honest i think jds vs lesnar would of been more competative with jds finishing lesnar by the end of the second but at least lesnar would of put up a fight driving foward with his takedown and clinching jds throughout the fight before being clipped. Good main event though with jds putting on a clinic. Carwin just gave up after the first few takedown attempts. I actually enjoyed the maia/munoz and kenny/nunes fights though even if they did go to a dec | |

| For all of the "The UFC got lucky, this is a way better main event" comments, one thing is for sure...we would've learned a lot more about JDS if he had fought Brock tonight | |

| Honestly Brock could have potentially gotten the takedown on JDS, but he would have been finished in that one, hope he fights Mir instead and tools him again.
You guys got to get people to throw down instead of paying 90 a month..

I am not convinced Brock would have been able to cope with Cigano's strikes. |

| Of course he wouldn't have, but his offensive wrestling is way better than Carwin's | |

| Brock's offensive wrestling has never been good against anyone with defensive wrestling. Only against the MIA probably retired journeyman in Heath Herring, and against Mir who admits his wrestling is shit. Carwin also clinchfucked him against the cage and summarily crushed his skull.
JDS would have beaten the living shit out of Lesnar and it would have been the third time in three fights Lesnar would be in a fetal position eating blows in the first round. Period.

| every fight ruled, what the fuck.
Munoz Maia - war. great fucking fight.
Florian Nunes - war. great fight.
Enimo Herman - hilarious war. awesome.
Cerrone Rocha - a beat down and entertaining fight
Only fight that disappointed slightly was Dos Santos because everyone wanted a finish, and Carwin off the lay off looked ineffective, but to survive that beat down in the first and to come back and press and land a few shots, made it interesting at least.

And we still don't really know that much about juniors defensive wrestling. Carwins "shot" was pathetic and wouldn't have taken down many guys in the division. Brocks is way more explosive and has still put down everyone he's fought including cain twice even if brock did make a sloppy pass attempt. The only point here is that in hindsight Brock honestly would've taught us more about JDS last night than Carwin ended up doing

| And also the point I made in the chat last night about Carwins reaction when he was rocked. When your as big as these guys are its simply impossible to have the agility to do anything when you are rocked except turtle up and hope the other guy punches himself out

| Carwin has huge legs and hindquarters and is strong as a bull. Not appearing explosive on TV doesn't tell the story at all. You're fucking nuts bobbitt, nuts beyond comprehension if you think Carwin's takedowns aren't good. He isn't a speed takedown guy, he is a bull. Grabs and powers through. Dos Santos stuffing those takedowns shows a lot.
All we would have learned from Dos Santos last night with Lesnar is that he can punch that big oaf in the face and make him turtle turtle like everyone else in the division.
Bobbitt I find it amazing you think Lesnar is this great fighter still.

Bobbitt I find it amazing you think Lesnar is this great fighter still. carwin does have good take downs. he has shown a strong wrestling base however none of that was shown last night. he looked like discouraged and out of it the moment jds landed. cage rust? who knows. jds is the best striker in the division.also as i recall mir, herring, randy didnt make lesnar turtle up, i believe when he fought them they were all in the division he is in.lol brock is still one of the best fighters cus he has proven it. nuff said. i would still pick guys like cain and jds over him any day of the week

Bobbitt I find it amazing you think Lesnar is this great fighter still. Again, Brock would've shown us more about JDS last night than Carwin did. Never said he would win, but his shot is way more explosive than Carwins, they aren't even in the same realm What do you call Carwin's response to JDS when he got rocked? He bent over and was a punching dummy until JDS got off him and he stumbled back up to his feet. Brock doesn't react well to punches but as far as when he's actually rocked and on the ground...when you're that size you're pretty much shit out of luck for answers other than eating punches and hoping the ref doesn't stop it

| carwin didn't run away turn and tap begging for mercy. Brock's shot isn't any better from what I have seen. Carwin's legs give his shot a ton of power. Dos Santos' wrestling is impressive. | |

| This guy still with the run away shit even though he clearly trips and falls off balance Anyways Carwin turtled up just the same, then JDS played it safer from rd 2 on.... Brock's shot and better top control alone would have showed us something, but JDS would have beaten him just the same, probably finished. | |
