| How many of you think this is true? Overeem has been a beast in K-1 over the last couple of years. Werdum just won at ADCC. Fedor needs no introduction. | |

| I'm not so sure Overeem is the best striker.
Werdum may be the best, but there are some arguements.

| Is Overeem just getting bigger and bigger or is it just me?
He looked even bigger in his fight with Aerts then when came in against Remy.
What is this guy taking?

What is this guy taking? No man I think he is getting bigger. I honestly think he's getting as big as he possibly can then he is going to cycle off so he can fight in the states. I truly believe that is in his master plan so he can take on the big boys.

I'm not sure, but just knowing how many times he's had his ass beaten standing makes me think he cannot be the best. Maybe Kongo or Arlovksi....I don't know...?

| Kongo would destroy him in the UFC, anywhere else not in America he wins via roidrage.
This ADCC win is a huge boost for SF.

| I really don't think Kongo is the best HW striker in MMA like many believe. Heath Herring was getting the better of the striking in their fight.
As for Overeem vs Kongo in MMA or in K1(especially MMA) Overeem would out due Kongo. Kongo has never faced a striker of Badi or Remy's caliber like Overeem has.

| Yes I agree totally. However in the UFC Kongo would be the one acclimated to fighting off the stuff and Overeem would be a shell of his current self. | |

| Though you make good points Combat, I still don't think they have the best HW division. Overeem is a moderately successful fighter, I am still trying to figure out why the UFC let Fabricio go, and we all know how I feel about Fedor. If the fight between Carwin and Lesnar goes as I expect it will, people are going to start rethinking how "bad" of a fighter Brock is. Personally, I hope Carwin kicks the living dogshit out of him, but that is subjective, not objective. | |
