Anthony Johnson out - Rick Story in against Nate

This is a better fight for the fans, not so much for Nate. Johnson is over rated and would have been an easy first step into the division, Story...not so much.

Wow that becomes a huge fight. Story is going to be ready that fast for a tough fighter like Nate?

I think the article is right this is very risky for Story.

Story wins then Fitch won't be able to duck him. He'll be a main event fighter.

Yeah I agree. Who would u favor in a Story vs Fitch fight?

Fitch because he seems to beat everyone but really Story may be the dude to remove his name from our collective consciousness forever.

I keep forgetting Nate is apart of this division now. Not agreeing with Wolf on this being a more entertaining fight. Story is going to try and stall him against the cage for 3 rounds

Good point. Anthony Johnson is an athletic and explosive can crusher who will never next level though, and Story is a contender who brings it, so in terms of this fight actually meaning anything it is better even if Story may not always be as entertaining.

I think Story is a very entertaining fighter but when u fight Thiago if u have any wrestling at all u are forced to use it. He grinded Thiago for long periods but basically he did what he had to do to get a very big upset and career changing win for himself.

Agreed there. Although Rumble did put up an entertaining fight with Kos. He just can't seem to stay healthy for sustained periods of time

Well its gonna be the same boat here. Unless Nate is a 170 lb zombie he is a much more diversified striker than Story who has losses to guys like Sonnen and Okami who just grinded on him

I was thinking the complete opposite but thats just me. I think rumble is a beast compared to story. strength wise

I think Story will be more competitive vs Nate so that in itself could make it more entertaining. I think this is a much harder fight for Nate.

I was actually probably gonna take Rumble to win that fight. Tough to fight a dude that big/athletic in your first cut down

Rumble is good at beating scrubs but Nate was going to fuck him up.

I agree, just because he was able to take advantage of Hardy's lack of wrestling doesn't mean he can hang with the big boys. I think Rumble would have been outclassed.

I still think Nate's making a huge mistake dropping to Welterweight, he was in the mix at Middleweight.

Hope the cut doesn't ruin him.

i cant wait to see nate at ww. he was a good sized mw i wonder how he will look at ww. cant favor either one right now but if nate does lose convincingly then we know were to put him in the ww division, same spot he was in the mw division
