I could see Anderson, Overeem, and Mousasi doing very very very well in K-1 and contending. I wouldn't guarantee a belt though.
As for ADCC I don't think they'd get too deep. GSP entered in 07 and got flying armbared. Fedor is intriguing, but I think top guys like Drysdale and Werdum sub him pretty easily. Fedor should have entered, lost to Werdum and step up a big fight in Strikeforce!

Sub'd? Or loss via points. I can't see Fedor ever sub'd.

Yeah but the comp in Sambo isn't in the same league as ADCC. Plus take away Fedor's devastating strikes on the ground & it changes things a lot.
The same year Arona won the ADCC he pretty much grappled with Fedor in their RINGS's Fight. Also you have remember RINGS doesn't allow any GNP.
I thought about that (decision could have EASILY gone to Arona) and still don't think Fedor beats guys like Estima, Jacare, Drysdale, & Werdum.

Estima is fucking sick. He finsihed Galvao with an inverted triangle and almost caught Xande Ribeiro in one as well. He also beat Marcelo with a rnc and will face Jacare at ADCC 2011.

I don't know that Fedor would win but I certainly think he would be competitve and no way he gets sub'd.

I don't think Fedor would win titles in either but he is the one guy I could see competing at the highest levels in either.
Fedor out strikes strikers. Fedor out grapples grapplers.

Gee Wolfy your more of a homer than I am! And I am pretty bad. Fedor could get subbed and I think he probably would in the ADCC. As far as who could do both and be successful? I think the top of the list would have to be A. Silva and with a little work G. Mousasi, BJ Penn, L. Machida and F. Mir. Championships? not sure.

What has Machida shown to make you think he'd do well in ADCC? Freakin Tito Ortiz sunk in a triangle.

and he escaped brilliantly.
A. Silva doesn't have the build or the wrestling experience to be strong enough in the wrestling side which is required to win in ADCC. I think he could do well but I am not sure he wouldn't get dominated by a stronger wrestler.
Brandon Vera is another guy to consider.

Fedor would do Ok to say the least. He wouldn't get sub'd. Saying that, if Fedor thought he would win he would've entered. How come no one says Big Nog?
