Rampage gets next title shot(if medically cleared)

I was just reading that if the doctors clear him then he gets Bones next and if not not Machida gets the next shot. Rampage seems to really want the shot so I hope it happens but if he really fractured his hand it might be tough for him to be ready. The odds on a Jones vs Rampage fight opened at -305 for Bones over Page.

Would much rather see Machida vs Bones.

You are probably right about that but still cant wait to see them fight.

I got no prob with this, Evans got a tight W over Rampage 12 months ago for his shot, it hasn't happened and Evans hasn't fought. In that time Rampage has tight W over the next guy in the conversation, Machida(who ktfo Evans and has only one win in a year and a half, and has beat Hamill, dominantly. It makes perfect sense, he is the highest rated fighter with wins in the right now.

is apparently close to making his return to action to defend his light
heavyweight title for the first time, as he may be penciled in to battle
Quinton Jackson at the upcoming UFC 135 event, which is currently rumored for Sept. 24 at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado.

Severely rooting for Page in this one.

I think Machida stands a better chance but I want to see Rampage KO bones bad. I would love that.

Page KOing Bones would pretty much make my MMA year alone.


Page might have trouble getting inside on Bones though, reach, push kicks, and he shoots from real far out but unlike Hammil real quick. Still I'll pick Page without hesitation.

I love Rampage but he hasnt done a ton in his last few fights that make me give him much more than a punchers chance to beat bones.

Fighting for the belt may give Rampage that fire that has seemed to be lacking in his last few fights, the article also says that he may be out till November, I'm saying it is Machida next, deserving or not, and then if Rashad wins they can do it in January.

Think it's already set, Bones said something to that extent today.
