The new Mortal Kombat

The new MK is off the chain. Best MK in years and pretty much ever. Reboot of the first three games. Throwback fighting style that plays like the old games but is super deep and addicting as hell. I'm stuck on it for sure. The fatalities rule and the special moves system is awesome. Violent and brutal. MK LIVES!

I have been wanting to give this a look. This and the new Marvel vs Capcom.

But I'm stuck on GOW 3, but that beta ends after this week so I will have to find something to kill time until the September release. GOW 2 won't do it alone.

LA Noir is going to be epic but this MK is the best fighting game I've played in years including all UFC and EA MMA, all of which I liked a lot.

Another game I was interested in checking out, LA Noir. I'll have to give MK at try first.

I think I'm gonna trade in Killzone 3 for Brink. KZ3 was clean and fun but I cannot play it until June and have not played it since early April. I'm gonna drop it while its hot.

Brink looks nice, I hear good things about it already on console. It looks like a cross between KZ3 and Borderlands with the fps aspects mobility/functionality of Crysis 2. Like those games and battlefield there are job/class types (medic, infiltrator, soldier, etc.,). There is heavy customizations to your character. I will be putting iant nipple rings on mine. The game-play premise is interesting. the Single player is the multiplayer, or the other way around. You progress through the single player by playing the missions in multi player matches. One of the first missions see's one team of 8 guide a mobile saw/welder through a shipping container yard guarded by a security team of 8 other players, the objectives progress throughout, similar to Rush on Bad Company two or Operations on KZ3 but with each mission/match having unique scenarios.

Always thought the Killzone francise was a bit overrated, but G I'd give Crysis a look before Brink, haven't played since the first one, but it's a great FPS.
