| Sounded way to good to have Bradley fight Khan right after Alexander, I knew this shit would happen. Maybe Khan can fight Judah next (since it looks like the JMM fight is off the table) and perhaps the winner of Alexander-Matthysse or a Maidana rematch (if Bradley continues to be a bitch). | |

He is a guy who really acted like a fighter over most of his career. He beat Witter. He fought Holt, Peterson, Alexander. But now, he has thrown all that goodwill down the drain. HBO screwed up when they guaranteed him 1.2 million. Now he thinks fuck fighting Khan. I'll fate a lesser guy and get paid basically the same. HBO doesn't understand at all how to do business.

| That's been the issue with HBO, shoving HUGE wads of cash at guys before they earn it. Bradley, Berto, Ortiz, all good fighters but not worth the huge paydays HBO has been handing out. | |

Berto and Bradley are 2 perfect examples of what is wrong with HBO. Is Bradley a lower top 10 (or just outside top 10) P4P guy? Yes. Can Bradley draw fans to see him fight live? HELL NO!!!!! Is he a big KO puncher? NO. Does he produce scintillating fights? NO. he is a good fighter who wins by boxing, roughing you up, outquicking you, in essence doing whatever is required to win. Showtime would pay him 400-500,000 (a guess). So HBO overpays!!!! NO ONE ELSE IS GOING TO PAY HIM CLOSE TO WHAT THEY PAY HIM!!!!! Common sense-you offer a guy double or more than he can get paid elsewhere; is that a good idea!!!! Berto-a legit top 5 guy at 147. An elite fighter? Hadn't proven it, yet they paid him as such. Can Berto drive a live crowd? NO!!!! How much would Showtime pay for most of his fights? Alot less than he got from HBO everytime Haymon screamed at them, "pay my boy now". Bidding against themselves, wonderful HBO!!!!! Ortiz-I don't think his paydays have been as ridiculously out of control as Berto, but I could be wrong.

my wife is from right outside Ocean City Md. Middleweight prospect Fernando Guerrero headlined his 3rd or 4th FNF card from Salisbury MD (20 mins from where my wife grew up), this February. We went to that FNF card. He had at least double the crowd that Berto had in his fight before Ortiz.

| Guerrero draws CRAZY numbers in Maryland, I have no idea why they've had him in out in Bumfuck, Minnesota. I remember the Yusaf Mack-Chris Henry fight, he was on the undercard and the place was apeshit and cleared out after his fight.
Berto drew less than 1.000 people for the Quintana fight, and sadly enough that was a Haiti fundraiser too.

I never have been a huge Berto fan, but even I felt sorry for how poor the attendance was for that fight (considering how much Haiti could use every cent after that tragedy).
