Defiantly have gotten better, but it doesn't compare still. I plug by computer into my tv. A stream is like a low quality SD channel on TV.

I have watched some Facebook videos at my buddies on his 65 inch TV and they are HD quality. He uses HDMI cord.

The VGA video cables are capable of carrying HD signals. VGA is the only video output option on my machine.

Yeah I know it is capable of HD, but I just think HDMI is better. They are on most new computers. We use the same cord for the PS3 and PC.
The cord does matter.
