| What fighters out there are matchup nightmares for current Champions and contenders? Might not be too highly ranked themselves but they have the style to give the Champs fits? Any come to mind? | |

| I think Paul Harris is a matchup nightmare for some top level fighters. I think he is strong enough and a good enough grappler that he would give some guys fits. I think he would sub Sonnen and possibly even sub Anderson. He has shown a decent chin(when he is paying attention) and he has good wrestling(put Mayhem down strong in sparring). Plus he has the strength and BJJ to pull off the sub. | |

| I think Robbie Lawler would be a matchup nightmare for Maia who doesn't have the takedowns of Babalu or Jacare. Robbie would be able to sprawl and brawl the shit out of him. Not really a big upset or anything just a matchup nightmare that comes to mind. | |

| Jose Aldo- Kenny Florian. Florian will take Aldo to places he's never been before. It will be a great fight. Aldo will probably still win but it will be his hardest fight since his only loss. |

Where is the matchup nightmare? Aldo is faster, and probably has better standup and BJJ.

| I think Aldo's matchup nightmare might be a strong wrestler that can hold him down. Maybe Frankie at 145 would be a bad matchup for him. Might be quick enough to not get hurt and land the takedown. | |

| The Lightweight champ isn't going to go down to fight the 145 champ. If that fight were to happen it will happen at 155. |

- “I’m not considering it right now with this fight looming with Gray, but I probably can make 145lbs,” Edgar said. “It’s definitely a good option to have with the UFC acquiring the featherweight division now; there are some good potential match-ups for me at that weight class. Who knows how I’ll fare at 145 though. Just because you’re going down doesn’t mean you’re going to be dominant. I will be cutting weight, I will be giving up speed, but I will be gaining size, so there are a lot of ways you have to look at it.”
Not an impossibility. But not happening anytime soon either. I could see a guy with a healthy reign considering that fight if he is Edgars size.

It would be a more natural fit for Frankie. Something he has said is possible in the future. IMO Frankie has more potential at 145 then Aldo does at 155.

| I'm just glad Cho say all dough is getting back to work. 7 months off is a while. Sucks so many champions have got injured the past year. | |

He's not going to drop his title to move down a division. There are much more competitive fights for him at 155 than 145. At 145 there is Aldo and Kenny. At 155 there are much much more. If he beats Maynard I can see him holding it for a super fight with Gilbert Melendez sometime next year. |

I won't be holding my breath he beat him this time around. Frankie has talked about 145 being a possiblity multiple times. Both before and after he won his belt. A couple things could happen for him to move. He could lose his title or he could hold the title and want to go for 2 titles. Frankie is a small LW and the cut to FW shouldn't be too difficult for him and his body would stay exactly how it is. It is possible for him to compete at both. Or make a permanent move to a weight class that is probably more suitable for him anyways. If the UFC had a FW divison 5 years ago he would probably already be a FW.

| Pettis, Miller and others want their title shot as well. They aren't going to wait longer for it. Bad business for Dana if Edgar holds 2 titles as their is less title fights and if he losses then it makes the LW title mean less. I'm 99.99% sure that as long as Edgar is champ he wont fight for the FW title also. |

I would be willing to bet that in 2 years, Frankie would have already had a fight at FW in the UFC. I think Frankie is eyeing it for the future, but obviously no reason to rush into it at the moment. Frankie has been very receptive to the idea everytime I have seen him talk about it.

| If he's the LW champ no, if he losses the LW title then yes. |

Very easily could've won 4 rounds in a row after Gray rocked him in that last fight. If anyone won that fight it was Frankie

| I think: Johnny Hendricks would beat Ben Askren.
Palhares would submit Sonnen in under 3 min.
Shogun could still beat Reem in an open weigh fight.
Tyson Griffin would give Aldo more problems then Kenny Florian.
