I said before you could tell Spider vs GSP was far from a done deal even if GSP beats Jake. He was saying things like he didn't know what weight class it would be at and that Anderson has made 170lbs before and how he has never fought at 185lbs. But now today he talks about how Silva was even big at LHW and how he doesn't know how long he would want to put on weight. Just sounds like there are alot of things that could prevent that fight.

Yeah, talking about Anderson making 170 back in the stone age shows the GSP does not really plan on fighting Silva in the near future, or it's not going to be as simple as he beats Shields(which isnt simple), vacates the belt and goes to 185. This can be like the whole Diaz-Mayhem thing when nobody wants to give up a point in weight and you can't really blame eitheir one.

I agree, this all makes me think that GSP will push for a catch weight fight if it happens.

No way GSP should fight Anderson at 185 right now. Anderson is just way too big. 178 seems fair.

GSP just said today in the post fight show that he believes that Anderson walks around 235lbs.

Yep he sure did, but then not too long after that he, or Soares said Anderson would not move down.

Anderson doesn't know what he's saying sometimes though, like yeah I'd fight him at 170, as he weigh 230. Like with Shad, it would be fun, Anderson just wants to fight.

I'm not sure where in this thread it was talked about but that Munoz stoppage was legit, CB was glazed over and it took him a few seconds to get back to his feet after it was stopped.
