Caesar’s Palace in Atlantic City Confirmed for Bellator 44

According to a reliable source close to the event, Bellator Fighting Championships will return to the area on May 14th for Bellator 44 at Caesar’s Palace in Atlantic City. No fights have been announced for the show, but Binky Jones (9-9, Ground Control) has been preparing for an unnamed opponent for this show for at least two weeks. According to MMA Junkie, Hector Lombard (27-2-1) will break it down with Falaniko Vitale (28-9) in a non-title fight. There had been a rumor floating around Philly that Eddie Alvarez (23-2, Fight Factory) will finally defend his title against Pat Curran (15-3) at this show. But, that fight appears to be going down at BFC 39 in Uncasville CT on April 2.

So wouldn't this be the season Finale? It's the last one I see on the schedule.

So this one would also feature some tourny finals? I hope Lombard is in action before then. At 33 years old he needs to stay active. But looks like he will be on this card.
