I agree with Dana that BJ won the 1st 2. Now you can argue if Fitch deserved a 10-8 or 10-9 round for the 3rd. bj didnt do anything to keep it a 10-9 though Yeah but in my opinion to get a 10-8 u have to be dominating(which Fitch was), hurt your opponent, and be damn near close to finishing your opponent off. I guess In my opinion Fitch wasnt close to finishing BJ and I dont think BJ was ever seriously hurt. Like I said I guess I can see a 10-8 but I really felt it was just a dominating 10-9 round.

You can't just have your own opinion about how a fight is supposed to be scored. They have rules that lay it out for you. All that's required for a 10-8 is to be overwhelmingly dominant, which Fitch obviously was.

| IMO this fight was a draw. BJ won the first, the second was even and Fitch owned BJ in the 3rd. I can understand agruements for both guys winning but imo it was a draw. Of course in my drunken fuck the BJ haters mode I was in that night made me think BJ should have won 2 rounds to 1. But watching the next day sober as I always do I saw it as BJ won the first, the second was even, and Fitch obviously won the 3rd. It was a draw
Let me say this though it was a draw in the sport of mma but if I look at it like a real fight I would say Fitch beat BJs ass cause it was basically a close grappling match that BJ was winning until Fitch trapped him up against the cage and beat him up.

| Just watched Penn-Fitch on TV. Rd1:10-9 BJ; Rd2: 10-10; Rd3: 10-9 Fitch. Draw. No way round 3 was a 10-8. Round 2 could really go either way

| Super late to this party
The fight could be scored 3 ways without much arguing, just one of those fights.
I thought BJ took the first 2 rds, maybe a 10-10 2nd rd, then Fitch dominated the 3rd, but 10-8? I've seen more dominant rds not scored 10-8 is all I can say.
BJ and Fitch are both the 2nd best WW in the World.
Does anyone know if Brock/Mir II's 1st Rd was scored 10-8?

| Reason I ask, is because that rd was more dominant
Hard to be objective, but in a rd by rd basis, I think BJ won the first 2, or the 2nd was 10-10, and Fitch only won a 10-9 3rd.

| I honestly would have been happy for either guy if they won and disappointed for the guy who lost. Despite the fact that I defend Fitch all the time, I'm not really a "fan" of either guy but I also don't have any problems with them. | |
