Former UFC lightweight Dan Lauzon was stabbed in the shoulder last night outside of a bar in Bridgewater.
According to the Enterprise News, the altercation occurred around 1 a.m. and he was “stabbed with a knife at the top of his shoulder during a fight with a group of men in a parking lot on Summer Street.” The 22-year-old Lauzon was transported to Brockton Hospital.
Though his name has since been removed from the Enterprise News story his brother and current UFC lightweight Joe Lauzon blogged on his website, “A little after 2 a.m., I get a call saying my brother was on his way to the emergency room because he got stabbed. I rushed out the door and ended up rolling my ankle on the walkway, fell to the ground and then hobbled to my car. I got to the hospital and gimp walked my way into the ER and found Dan in one of the rooms.
“The story is kind of foggy about what happened… but he was out at a bar and things obviously went south. Luckily, he is okay and they only did a couple stitches. The wound was not very deep and Dan has proven yet again to have a horse shoe up his (butt).”
Since being released by the UFC last year Dan is 2-0 and coming off a win over Damien Trites in December.
