| I think the fact that Fedor was know for attacking fighters strengths, jumping into the gaurd of BJJ experts(granted got caught vs Werdum) standing with strikers, etc helps his case immensely.
Combine that with the perceived hole exposed by Sonnen, and I think that tips the scales in Fedor's favor.

| Hendo was 1 year removed from his Pride days when he fought Anderson, has lost once since that fight, and is about to fight for the SF LHW Title. In other words Anderson simply beat Hendo and that was a great win.
Franklin is more on the level of more underrated fighters in MMA history. The only guys he's lost to are Anderson 2x, Machida, Hendo (Very close fight), Vitor tough matchup and Forrest who won with a size edge really, nothing wrong with those losses. IMO Rich could still beat anyone at MW aside from Anderson arguably best ever and Vitor who is a tough style matchup for him.
On Fedor vs Anderson alltime, it's much closer then some may think now, but the edge still goes to Fedor. Anderson still has future fights which could decide this, but GSP, maybe Shogun, could both get in the mix as well.

| Franklin is not underated. He beat cans in his title reign and then when more talented fighters came in he went back to the rest of the pack. He is not even top 10 in his division and wouldn't be top 5 at Middleweight. | |

| He's lost only to the best of the best, and Forrest won with size. The division landscape was different then, beatin Tanner back then was a great win, he beat Okami who is sitll ranked 2nd and 3rd in the World at MW some places. Rich could beat anyone a MW outside Anderson and Vitor. You reminded me of Freak. | |

| Fedor Emelianenko is the greatest MMA fighter of all time.
Anderson is closing the gap, but Fedor went undefeated for nearly 11 years. Silva has only been in the UFC since 2006 and doesn't have to deal with fighting a constant height and weight disadvantage.
If he keeps winning, Anderson will be known to the world as the all-time best, especially with the Zuffa machine. But, for now, it's still Fedor.

| Look guys the Fedor is the GOAT days are done. He just lost to a guy who is a borderline can as it is, but that is Fedor's fault. He comes to fight out of shape, depended on his toughness, KO power, and submission prowess to survive while failing to adapt to modern MMA techniques and hadn't fought worthy competition in years. He was easily susceptible to the takedown, which everyone knows, because even Lindland took him down when Fedor had the weight advantage. Granted Lindland is an Olympic medalist, but people saw it happen when Rogers took him down too. They knew and studied his counters to these for their defense, while he hung out in the frozen tundra with people telling him how awesome he is. People like GSP, Silva, the entire Greg Jackson camp and AKA prepare for their opponents for the entire 2 months. That is why they have champions. Fedor isn't even a lineal champion anymore and you all know how I feel about that shit. | |

| So he was the GOAT but becuase he lost 2 fights which are his first 2 losses ever then he isn't the GOAT anymore? So when Muhammed Ali lost his last couple of fights he lost his title of GOAT? | |
