Early picks? Rose? KD? LeBron?

KD has been on a huge tear lately. 40+ in 3 of the last 4 games. Most 40 point games this season. But with Westbrook doing so well it might take away from his chances.

I was about to say, is Kobe even a serious canidate? You fucking homer! The MVP out of LA right now is Blake Griffin!

I love the young players. Serge Ibaka is a blocking machine! 6 blocks last night.

Yeah we have some young guys that down the road might be something. 1st round pick from last year Cole Aldrige might develope into something, maye Byron Mullen. Not holding my breath for either guy but they are both young 7 footers.

oh btw, back to the original post, Lamarcus Aldridge should be considered a top candidate for the mvp, he's single handily keeping the Blazers alive

How is Kobe not even close to MVP right now? I'm not saying it's him, but he's prob in the top 5 or around it. He could easily still push to get the MVP if he keeps his numbers up and the Lakers finish 1st in the West or even 2nd overall in the league, only like 3 back of the 2nd best record in the NBA now. His numbers in terms of PER do matchup with pretty much anyone in the league (though I'm not a fan of PER) and while he's 5th in the NBA in scoring, he's actually 1st in scoring per 48, and by a wide margin.

In terms of MVP now, I'd have Rose just cause of his play and their team record, Amare would be in there, Dwight, CP3 but too early to tell I guess. Durant is in there but Westbrook has played just about as good as him this year. Lebron is possibly not even the best player on his team, and with a teammate posting matching numbers, how can he be MVP? It'd be a shame if his hollow numbers got a 3rd straight MVP, though it probably end without a ring again which would be funny.

yeah at this point, it is pretty difficult to tell who will win the MVP. Lots of players playing well.

i bet Melo wins it, soon as he gets traded to the Knicks...
