NFL commissioner Roger Goodell says he will cut his salary to $1 if there is a work stoppage after the collective bargaining agreement expires in March.

Goodell, who makes about $10 million a year including bonuses, says in a memo to his staff that chief negotiator Jeff Pash will do the same. Pash makes nearly $5 million a year.

But Goodell emphasizes "the entire senior leadership team stands with me in its commitment to resolving the CBA issues with the player's union."

If nobody plays, nobody makes any money! There will be no problem and I would be shocked if the season was interrupted by any of this nonsense. The old deal is up and new paperwork needs to be signed. I think it is being blown up for no reason.

Its is actually more likely a strike happens than a deal getting done in my opinion.

I hope it happens so Brett comes back.

I think we will have a lockout March 4th or whenever the day is. But everything will be good to go before the season starts and we won't miss a single game. Which means I would still win the bet.

I think there will be a full season, but I have fucking had it with this nonsense. Both sides are being ridiculous and after the season that just ended???

Most profitable and successful season in league history and this is how they follow it up?

Everything seemed fine the way it was before, the owners were clearly making money. They are the ones that opted out, they are the ones asking for more. I put most of the blame on them.

i agree with this. plus at the end of the day, things will be the same so all this back and forth seems useless because the court will probably rule in favor of the players

Not feeling moving kickoffs to the 35, they changed from this in the early 90's now go back?

looks like we are getting closer and closer to football. Also looks like we will be sticking with 16 games and finally have a rookie cap.

I hope they don't miss any games, I need football for those 5 months each year.

I'm a Cowboys fan, the NFL has been rough for awhile now lol
Hopefully I'll get to see another game this year, still haven't seen a Cowboys game in the new stadium. I have seen OU vs Nebraska Big 12 Championship in that stadium and I have seen the Cowboys in the old stadium, but not in Jerra's World.

Looks like the end is near. They are saying that we could see papers signed and handshakes in the next 48hrs.
