| I always thought his ranking in the p4p lists was crazy talk(think the same with alot of the WEC guys) but Rani Yahya?
35 yrs old. Can he turn it around?

| Rani has some bad losses but he was and is a legitimate fighter. MTB has hit the wall though. A change of camp is all that is left for him. | |

Not even sure if that will work for him now. He doesnt look like he is in 100 percent to me. I hate to say that because who the hell am I to call out a fighter, but thats just the way he looks to me lately.

I'm not saying the guy isn't legitimate, but most would have said this guy should not even be in the cage with Brown 15 months ago.

| I hope MTB gets back on track somehow I like the guy. He hasn't been the same since his chick left him, maybe he's just one of those pussies who is still crying over his x. Whatever I'm still his fan hope he gets his shit together. | |

| 15 Months ago Yahya was fighting a weight class down, but he was top ten and borderline top five, coming off three straight SOTN's off recent title contenders and former WEC champs. I implore that ye checketh thyself lest thee wrecketh thyself.

| Brown just isn't that impressive anymore. Rani is interesting moving forward though. Impressive work in dragging Brown to the ground | |

A little birdie would also say he could have benefited from a lifestyle change

| MTB beat Faber twice. I don't think him being included on p4p lists during his run was all that crazy. Sometimes when these guys get knocked off the top off the mountain, it's hard for them to find their way up again...especially at age 35.

| MTB has just fallen off faster then any fighter I can remember, part of me thinks he's got some issues in his private life, cause it's crazy how far he's dropped off. At the time though, MTB was a legit P4P fighter, he's always had well-rded skills, and go look through his resume when he was ranked P4P. | |

I'm seeing Faber, Curran, Garcia and Yves(Im not going to count a 21 yr old Hominick in his 5th career fight).. So basically his p4p ranking was based on catching Faber and then Faber breaking his hands. How many p4p spots do we think Brown jumped off of a win over Faber?

How many p4p spots do we think Brown jumped off of a win over Faber? A 22-4 Champion at the time, and can't discredit those quality wins especially when one was against a top 5 possibly at the time P4P fighter. Add in well-rded skills within any division (various ways of finishing fights). MTB was a deserving P4P fighter at the time, hindsight is 20/20 though. And big wins like that are usually how guys get big jumps P4P, look at Cruz, Bowles...If Melvin Guillard fought Frankie next and KO'd him, he'd be getting P4P votes no doubt.
