Why is everyone trashing the Big Ten?

Just curious.

Because they went 0-5 on New Years Day? The only real winnable game there was Penn St. and that was a match up of two historical programs having shitty years. Northwestern is nothing without Persa, Michigan is awful and Michigan St./Bama was a horrible mismatch.

It is the second best conference without question.

Yeah, the NCAA loves to give nightmare matchups to the Big Ten...the only game we lost that we should have won in was Wisconsin vs. TCU...still baffled at how Wisconsin lost that game.

U guys almost blew it also.

Big 10 was without question the 2nd best conference in the nation this season. I don't see any argument for any other conference.

Its because Big 10 ended up 3-5 in the bowl season. The bowl season is how many people compare the conferences. Admittedly the Big Ten had a really difficult schedule but few people dive in further than the record itself. I think the Pac 10 has a small but realistic case for the 2nd best conference but it was extremely top heavy.

Big Ten beat the #8 and #12 teams in the nation. The only 2 higher ranked teams to lose were both Big Ten but one lost to a higher ranked team and the other lost to the most talented team this year (and defending champs).

They lost because the power running game was working so well that Bielema decided to completely abandoned it. Douchebag

Yeah i was shocked to see Wisconsin throw the ball as much as they did. I figured they would run 80 percent of the time in that game.

TCU was flat out better. I was rooting for them against the Big 10 anyway. Illinois won big for the conference.
