| After this bout with Sherman, Holyfield already has a scheduled bout for March 5 in Denmark against another 45-plus-year-old veteran Brian Nielsen, who hasn't fought since 2002. The kicker in all this is that if all goes well and according to plan for Holyfield the WBC has already agreed for a heavyweight title match for him against Vitali Klitschko after Williams and Nielsen. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/560232-evander-holyfield-at-48-should-he-still-be-fighting Just WOW. | |

| bad but sadly not even the worst thing the WBC has ever done
I still think the best was when the WBO kept progressively moving a fighter up their rankings WHEN HE WAS DEAD they didnt even know he wasnt alive yet he kept moving up their rankings | |

| When Morris died he wasNo 7 in the WBO's rankings, having made an amazing appearance at No 10 in July 2000, a year after his last fight, and his name had been mentioned as a potential future opponent for the WBO champion, Joe Calzaghe.
However, the Detroit fighter's prospects bizarrely improved when he died and in the December ratings he had progressed to No 6. Just two weeks ago the long-dead fighter edged even closer to a showdown against the Welshman Calzaghe when he appeared at No 5 in the WBO's latest ratings
