| I have a Gateway that I just restored, it's a windows XP and was I was wondering how much it would cost to upgrade to windows 7 and if the computer could even run it.

| depends on which windows 7 you wanna buy there is like 4 or 5 different ones and if you are going to install it yourself then you won't have to spend money on the install just windows 7. im pretty sure your computer can run it. | |

Is it easy to install? im probably just getting the basic windows 7, dont see the big difference between it and the premium really | |

| Going XP to 7 is easier then going Vista to 7 from what I've read, so you should be fine.
If you know anyone in computers you can possibly get an unlocked or free copy of 7, a friend of mine hooked me up not too long ago.
Was it a computer crash? virus related? what was the problem with the PC? | |
