The Keys to Tonights Fight

In order for Jean Pascal to walk away with another huge win at the light heavyweight division, he must continue and build on what he has already done. Against Chad Dawson Pascal moved in and out hitting Dawson whenever he wanted and offering no target for Dawson. Pascal needs to do this against Hopkins. He must make the older Hopkins fight at a faster pace than the old vet will want too fight at.

The Jab : both fighters need to work their jab to be effective, Hopkins more so than Pascal IMO because Bernard eeds too use his jab to keep Pascal at bay. The jab can stop Pascal from jumping in and out. The jab can also help Pascal move in and out. It will be interesting to see who wins the battle of the jabs.

Bernard Hopkins' Slickness : Bernard is one of the craftiest fighters I have ever watched live (by that I mean he fought while I was alive and I saw it). Bernard knows how to work the ref's better than anyone in the game. Meaning he holds the hand the ref cant see, he kidney shots the side the ref isn't on, etc. Bernard needs to be his crafty self if he wants to win this fight.
