GOR January discussion

The conversation needs to happen earlier due to the 1st of the month event.

Also, January is very light on big fights so let it be known if something comes up or if other co-main event fights should be considered.

But for starters, what is the opinion on these, mainly the Challengers main event and UFC 125 Co-Main Event?

Man ugly month for the GOR although that SF doesn't have any official fights yet

I'm up for anything, but even though its the co-main I almost think Gomi-Guida is more GOR worthy than Leben-Stann. I think the Challengers main event in addition to featuring two guys who aren't that highly ranked would be essentially unanimous for Woodley. Other than that there just isn't much out there this month

I agree with Bobbitt. I think Gomi vs Guida would be pretty close to even and every1 would pick Leben over Stann in my opinion.

I like Guida-Gomi. Not sure the Challengers series is quite worthy, but I don't care.

If Diaz gets a fight add him, but with about a month the opponent will probably have everyone picking Nick anyways.

That sf card is still being developed, a lot of good rumors, something gor worthy should come out of it though.

I'm personally not big on Vera vs Silva for gor for these reasons. Vera winning might get him back in the division top 20 and no one on this site even feels Silva is a top ten fighter right now. That is in contradiction to one of the other suggestions that looks like it won't make it, but I added because of their significance on their respective cards.

Some sites do, and we have Cavalcante and Mo at 7/8 on here.....

Right, I'm not trying to be like shut it down or anything, just offering my one opinion, we'll hash it all out soon for what everyone is feeling.

La maybe expand the GOr grand prix to have more fights?

We can settle on may a 5 or 6 minimum for the final month of the gp. The strikeforce cad is likely to produce another fight

I'd do these 6, or 5, your call on Vera/Thiago, then just add Diaz if he fights which I doubt and everyone would pick Nick most liekly anyways.
