Was Aerts decision over Semmy legit?

Fuck yes and it was the most rousing moment of the tournament. He took a beating from Semmy himself but was coming forward landing shots on the big oafs face to close out the last two rounds. As the fight went on Aerts got stronger. But he was shot for the final. Beating Semmy took everything he had. His left eye was gone and he had a huge gash. Overeem mauled him in the final.

Overeem got an easy semi final against Saki. Saki had a broken arm and hand and the first kick the Reem landed to his arm finished the contest. They should have went with a reserve fighter.

Yeah I watched all of Reem's fights today but haven't seen any of the others except Aerts-Mighty Mo

Peter really brought it to Semmy, that old man still has some left. But I wish Reem would have got to fight Semmy

Wouldn't have made a difference. Semmy fought like shit all night. Uneventful fight against Kyotaro and was strong for the first round against Aerts but then he fell apart. Had that version of Schilt gotten in against Overeem he would have been destroyed just the same.

Course it's hard to be too hard on Semmy, this was the first Grand Prix he participated in and didn't win it all.

Of course not Semmy is a monster I just can't bring myself to route for the guy for some reason.

Semmy isn't old like Arets yet but he is an old 37 year old Pancrease vet. Lots of miles. 85 pro fights means a lot of tough training over the years.

Aerts was pissing blood between the semis and the finals he said. Overeem truthfully did have an easy route to the championship.
