" How our scenario works is if you get paid with a win bonus, it's about just winning, it has nothing to do with how exciting you look because most people's win bonus is bigger than knock out of the night or submission of the night. So it really doesn't make sense to go out and say I'm gonna get KO of the night and then lose, and then you lose your win bonus. It's one of those things that really doesn't make sense, the whole thing is just to win."

Never thought of it that way but it doesn't make since for the higher paid guys to put that win money at risk by going to a KO of the night bonus.

For people on his level he is right. But the lower level guys making 10K to show and 10K to win is a little different when the PPV OTN bonuses can be 70K.

Yeha I know OU some of those guys only make 5k to show and shit that's crazy when you look at fighters higher up. To these guys yeah that bonus means something.

I was looking at the bonuses, for LIVE on Versus 2 it was 45K and for UFC 103 it was 65K. I think the last PPV it was 75K. Big jump for those lower level guys.
