Well looks to me like Bellator is going to be on espn. They've announced that a huge deal is done but they can't announce the partner yet. FUCKIN SWWWWWEEEEEEEETTTTTT!!!

Just don't puke on the future Heisman winner and national champion.
Thanks.

Is bellator open to cross promotion?
While I enjoy that the UFC's US monopoly has ended, the multiple org format keeps some necessary matchups from happening.

Bellator had better be open to cross promotion with the DreamForce-M1 partners or else there will be no one for 150 million people to watch.

I think it might also be a big step in forcing UFC to co promote. you can't have 4 relevant org's all with decent talent fighting each other while the UFC sits there with a fence around their guys.

There is 1 and 1/2 relevant orgs to the UFC. Strikeforce is maybe Bellator just because of ESPN.

1 and 1 half? What does that mean?
Dream and Sengoku are pretty relevant since they have a lot of good name fighters, garner plenty of sherdog and espn.com coverage, and since most of us watch them all.
Sengoku and Dream have both already created stars in Eddie Alvarez, Gegard Mousasi and King Mo among others.

You have to be joking?
I love these Jap shows, but how are they relevant to anyone besides the Japanese and hardcores? The rest of the world doesn't care.
Sorry to say it but Mousasi gained 10x the pub with his 1 SF fight then he did in all his Dream fights. King Mo is far from a star and Eddie Alvarez isn't either, but he will be soon enough and so will Mo if he sign with UFC, SF, or Bellator depending on how much they're on TV.

Not a star in the Chuck Liddell sense, but King Mo got plenty of talk during this weeks MMA live and got that sponsorship deal with Lashley and Page.
They are relevant to the MMA world. They both have good tv deals with HDnet. They may not be relevant to Joe Nobody who watches the bulk of his MMA at Buffalo Wild Wings but MMA never has been driven by those numbskulls and nothing annoys the shit out of me more than when respectable American fans view MMA through that ethnocentric prism.

Can a org not be relevant in other parts of the world? Is Japan not a viable MMA market? They have legit fighters, they have plenty of fans. What else does an org have to do to be relevant?

I can't wait for Bellator to start up again. They put on very good shows, hopefully they'll be back at The Mohegan Sun and I'll get a call to work it again.
