Like i said, Rampage believes in PRIDE rules...Put the same 15 minutes of action in an effective scoring model and Machida wins. Rampage may have very well won 2 rounds to 1..though i still have not re-watched the fight but Machida did more and Jackson believes it's about doing more..not winning 2 out of 3 seperate 5 minute fights because you put everything Rampage did in the first two rounds in one...it's not as much as what Lyoto did in the last 5 minutes and some people even give round 2 or round 1 to Lyoto.

Rampage is just standing up for what he believes in. He does not like that there is nothing distinguishing Lyoto's round 3 to any of the first two rounds. Lyoto got 10 points for rocking Jackson, landing at a high percentage, two takedowns, side control, a mount, two submission attempts and it's the same as 10 points Jackson got for landing an uppercut on a break in round 1 which featured little action or landing a takedown that went nowhere in round 2.

Machida won the 3rd round by much more than Rampage won the 1st and 2nd round. As a whole Machida did more but using the current scoring system Rampage won.

its as simple as this! machidas style is starting to hurt him

page wanting to clinch against the cage during the first and second instead of engage got him the win. he has the scoring system to thank
