| The winner of this fight will get a title shot, but George shouldn't have to do this, as he should have already earned one. The WEC merger directly uncut George here. | |

| Sot is the real deal. His jiu jitsu is really top's in that division by a lot. I see him submitting Siver in the 1st with ease. | |

| So you have all stopped doubting Aussie George This fight makes no sense. He should've been given Sherk next. |

| I never really doubted George but I still don't think he's a top 5 UFC LW. I would've liked to have seen that fight continue last night if not for a total Lauzon adrenaline dump/lactic acid/gas-out nightmare | |

| 1. Frankie Edgar 2. BJ Penn 3. Gray Maynard 4. Kenny Florian 5. Evan Dunham, Sean Sherk, Aussie George take your pick. |

| Sherk doesn't want to be in George's guard. George is a better striker, much more dangerous on the ground than anyone Sherk has fought recently. I think George would submit Sherk or beat him standing. | |

| Sherk is probably about as hard to submit as they come. George has a nice guard but he subbed a totally finished Lauzon last night. He was on the ground plenty vs Stevenson and Pellegrino and couldn't finish them. He has really good passes and control from the top but I don't think that would be a big factor against someone like Sherk
I think Sherk's striking is better as well. George is way too stiff for my taste. He would have the reach advantage as usual, but Sherk has better boxing IMO | |

| george was losing against joe up until joe gassed. good job to joe with his win however in order for him to be a top dog he has to stop fighting these 2nd and 3rd string guys. to date his biggest win is a decision over joe daddy | |
