Their perimeter D was lacking, it's one of the big reasons they threw up 40 attempts, the Lakers weren't there most of the time. Half of the shots were barely contested, everyone saw it. Suns are the best 3 point shooting team in the league this season, top three in every 3 point offensive category before last night. The Lakers allow a lot of 3's already every game. There was nothing fluke about it, if you let skilled long range shooters shoot like that, that's what happens. A lot of those shots in the first half weren't even contested at all, the passing was too good, LA was too big most of the time to cover that kind of spread.
I was generous when I said the Laker D was lacking.

Those kind of open 3's happen in everygame, but even then players don't bang em in at that clip. There was also a lot of contested 3's or just eh I'll throw this up 3's. The second half they were just throwing em up from everywhere. And they were throwin up 3's because they know they have no other way to win, we'll just throw up 3's and hope they go in and keep us in the game. Normally when you have that kind of shooting night it's a blowout win, look at the Pacers shooting performance against the Nuggets this season which is equally flukish, they won by 30+ I think, they didn't hang on to win in the 4th.

They didn't blow them out because the Suns play zero D.

That means every 3 was needed, we'll exchange 2's for 3's, have you ever seen a game like that before? pretty flukish.

Every three was needed, having it available so often early helped establish the confidence and heat to make the crucial shots late when the Lakers adjusted better. If the the Suns weren't the best 3-point shooting team in the league it would be blatantly flukish. They are the best at it and used it on the Lakers by spreading the court, good passing, and quick transition play.

Come on dude, a whole team hot at the same time? their first 3 FGs were 3's. Not as many were as open as you're implying either, they were also making ridiculous wild 3's aswell, Pacers vs Nuggets = Suns vs Lakers. Laker also have the best 3P defense in the league

The shot was there to take most of the time. About a third of the shots were uncontested completely, another third were poorly contested and the other third were well contested. Lakers have middle of the pack 3 point defense at best. Very far from the best, that would be the Celtics.

The net has everything. If you didn't watch it then how do you know it was a fluke?
What the hell are you talking about? I said it's obvious you didn' watch the game, I watch every game.
How did you watch it if you said it wasn't televised?

A lot of shots are open like that in most games for teams but they don't hit em all, and saying about 7 of the 3's were completely wide open is a bit much. Laker defense against the 3, #1 last two seasons, last night skewed this years stats.

Most NBA games endup getting blocked on free sites. I'm able to watch all teams with league pass.

Lake was 19th best at defending the 3 before last night.

9 games into the season, after dominating with the same team for the last 2 whole seasons.
The Bucks have the bestscoring D so far.

He'll be in the mix for sure, but you have Dwight, then a bunch of close guys, Noah, Hibert, Bogut, Horford, those guys will all contend at C for the other maybe 2 spots. Shaq might get voted in on the fan vote too, know how that goes.
