Robert Drysdale won last night

VICTORIA -- Brazilian jiu-jitsu ace Robert Drysdale defeated Canadian Clay Davidson by first-round submission on the AFC 4: Revelation card at the Bear Mountain Arena.

The win via armbar improved the Las Vegas resident's record to 2-0 in mixed martial arts. Davidson, from Kelowna, B.C., fell to 5-1.

In other action, middleweight Nick Hinchliffe (17-6) won a unanimous decision over Mike Hackert (5-1).

AFC co-owner Jason Heit was due to take on Markhaile Wedderburn but the bout was called off when Wedderburn withdrew due to an illness.

and it is always entertaining watching a super high level submission guy at work. Loved the use of the feet in manipulating the dudes arms.

Has already said that he wants to fight Roger Gracie. SF would be crazy if they let that op slip by.

I respect him for taking on strong sub guys and not amateur kickboxers.

The jury is still out on what level of success Drysdale will eventually
attain after making his metamorphosis, which remains in the early
stages.

His next obstacle will come in the form of UFC veteran Mike Nickels
(9-4) on June 18. The pair will go head-to-head at Armageddon Fighting
Championship 6, which takes place at Bear Mountain Arena in Victoria,
British Columbia, Canada.
