White meeting with Networks again

"At the post-fight press conference for UFC 102 in Portland, Ore., White told MMAWeekly.com that he was flying to L.A. on Monday for another meeting with an undisclosed network.


When asked if he was finalizing a deal, White said, "I hope so... I really hope so.""

0 confidence in this. Dana again this week has said it's no thang to him and he is still waiting for the right deal, and that he's happy with the current spike-ppv model.

It might just be me, but I like what UFC does with spike. Their reality show is a perfect fit for cable and they can air their fight/fighter/event marathons whenever. If they can get a once a month special on a network that would be cool as long as it doesn't sacrifice the coverage and accessibility of spikes programing.

I see no reason for it to interfere with Spike's programming. It's a benefit to whatever network to have spike continue to promote the sport, the UFC, and the specific event to be aired on that Network..
