No not really. He's fighting Scott Carson who's 4-1. Looks good on paper but his last fight he got KO'd in the 1st round back in June. Before that all 4 of his wins took place between 1999-2001.

Charade? Maybe a little harsh. Dude is like 50. I wouldn't like to see Strikeforce sacrifice him. That probably wouldn't be for the best. No one has any illusion he is a real fighter or anything. They aren't marketing him like a world beater. Why have a sports hero mugged?

Naw, not for a 50 year old newb. If you were a promoter of a small show running out of an old highschool gym, would you bat an eye at a 50 year old with one fight and limited training fighting another old timer who, while lost his comeback fight, has at least some experience and a winning record?
