| Lol. Do you think this is staged to build up a fight or do you think it's legit? |

| I think Mayhem is trying to make this fight happen.
I don't think this is promotional for a fight that has been set up behind the scenes.

| Mayhem needs this fight more than Diaz. |

| I don't think he needs the fight at all. He's pretty much in line for a title shot at 185.

| Diaz is a much bigger fight though. With Shields and Henderson not in the SF Middleweight division anymore that is a weak division. |

100% incorrect. MW is prob their 2nd best division, Jacare is a top notch champion, imo top 5 in the world. Mayhem actually has way more options at 185 then Diaz does at 170, so even if we agree that Diaz is Mayhem's highest profile fight, there is no denying that Mayhem is Diaz's biggest fight as well.

| The Middleweight champ is a very good fighter I agree with you but he isn't a big name. Diaz is much more well known and would get a much bigger audience as the headliner. |

But it's a title fight, meaning he could win a title with that fight, there is no more important fight for Mayhem. Now who Diaz fights next is a complete question mark. He'd have to wait another month and hope Daley beats Smith for a worthwhile matchup at 170, and even that is not as big as Diaz vs Mayhem.

Correction, Mayhem wants the fight more than Diaz. He doesn't even want a title fight at WW. He just wants to fight Nick. With his success on Bully Beatdown he doesn't need to fight anyone.
