If they meet it should be at a catch weight of 178 pounds.

If they meet it should be at Middleweight, Silva's too old to drop below 185lb, he walks around as a Light Heavyweight.

That wouldn't be fair on GSP.

GSP has the right frame to move up to Middleweight, he's 5'10 and has been adding muscle for a reason. It's not like Middleweight isn't in his future, once he's done with Koscheck,Fitch and Shields he'll move up eventually.

Silva is 6'2 and 35 years old, he's got the frame to move up to Light Heavy, It wouldn't fair to ask him to fight below 185lb, he'll be in danger of draining himself below 185lb.

That'll make it easier for GSP to beat him
