Where are all these new posters coming from?

I'm glad they're here but we just jumped from 200 to 216 pretty quickly.

There are about 70 posters with 2 posts or less, over half with zero..........

This month is on pace to be the highest posting month of the year me thinks

Hey Ring, I'm glad to see you posting here more. It must mean your wife is doing better so I hope to see more and more posts from you.

Thanks Freak, Lola is doing great, (recovering nicely) so i'm back to posting like I did before. Now all we need is some good fights to talk about, October's boxing schedule has pretty much sucked.

BTW, I hope Ninja's Place never gets huge like some of the other forums, I like posting in a smaller forum, with friendly banter, where everyone pretty much knows everyone else, and your posts/threads get read, and not lost in the shuffle.

True. Everyone basically knows what everyone is about here and it's like we're a small community or a dysfunctional family.

I appreciate the invite to the MMA discussions Freak, but my main interest here is boxing, and I know next to nothing about MMA. I did see where James Toney gave MMA a shot, and got his ass handed to him, correct?

We have to know Football has probably slowed down the chatter here. College and NFL

Toney lost because he took on a great wrestler and only trained for 6 months. He would've had a much better chance against a Junior Dos Santos or Brendan Shuab.

I didn't say he would win. I said he'd have a better chance against JDS than Couture sine JDS has no wrestling.

I agree with this being better as a smaller forum. The MMA posters here know each other and so do us from the boxing side. Most of us from the boxing forum have known each other (posting wise) for almost 3 years now.

Some of these guys are from the ESPN forums, they still talk about us a lot over there and they come and check up on us.

JDS has no wrestling now? he was able to get Roy down a couple times and hasn't been taken down yet, don't think he'd have any problem getting Toney down if he wanted to.

Toney would get destroyed trying to kickbox some body in MMA or K1 with high level skills. His defense style would beg for a knee up the middle and he'd fall victim to Side Check Kicks.

Toney wouldnt have beaten any half way decent fighter with that little training.
