Rodgers IMO won't go down as BETTER then Brett. I think Rivers will go down ahead of Rodgers and just behind Brett.

Rodgers is already a much better QB then Rivers, he'll at least win 1 SB

I disagree. I think Rivers is a slightly better QB then Rodgers. Give Rivers those GB WR and see that happens. I think they are pretty comparable in skill though.

He had sick WRs last year and has much better RBs, Rodgers still puts up better numbers, their numbers aren't really that close in Rodgers short career so far.

I have Rivers behind, Romo and Schaub, besides Rodgers, Peyton, Brady Brees ect

Sick how? Jackson is the most overrated WR in the league. I love my boy Romo but Rivers will peak at a much higher point.

I agree but IMO Jax is far from elite WR in the NFL. Wasn't Chambers his #2? Not exactly high level guys IMO. Now he had elite receiving TE and RB(LT) I'll give him that. But I have always considered his WR core to be weak. I think Jennings, Driver, Jones is a much better group.

But he has Gates and Floyd was the 2 last year, plus always solid RBs. Fin appeared late last season.

I personally think the 2 are pretty comparable in skill like I said. It would be interesting if they switched teams. I think Rivers would be leading that GB team just as good. Both guys are talented IMO.

that's just me. I think Sammy and Ryan can be flat out studs.

Peyton has the same number of rings and may beat the stats too, so he is probably the best ever. Brady will have more rings but never the stats besides some single season ones. Brees has an outside shot but unless he has minimum five solid top level years, no dice.


None of these other guys even sniff Favre status by what we've seen yet.


What LA means is "I hate Favre and I want a list of guys who prove he is overrated so put names here please and say favre is sux 2"

All 4, the first 3 without a doubt.

I think Rodgers can too, even playing in Green Bay. Payton is hard to not have faith in also.

What does it take to be better than Favre? He's no less that 4 or 5 on the all time list and in many ways 1 or 2. Favre has these absolute detractors though that obsess on writing him off. So does Brady. Manning and Brees don't.

Personally I think Peyton is the only active QB I would rate over him when it is all said and done. That's just me.

Me and GDP are on the same page, and Favre isn't in my top 5, maybe closer to saying 10

Favre is a marginally top ten guy as near as I can figure all-time. He's been exceptionally durable, but a lot of that is rule change driven.

The most telling individual stat for a qb, the one that correlates most closely to winning, is yards per pass attempt. Favre is a 7.1 and has never been over 7.7.

Brees is 7.3 and has been over 8 three times
Manning is a 7.7 and has been over 8 twice and at 7.9 three times
Brady is a 7.3, has been over 8 once and 7.8 three times

This is all before we factor in the "I never saw a pass I couldn't complete" attitude towards interceptions.

There is a stat that really catches my eye. Rodgers, I believe, has one red-zone turnover in his career, coming in one of his first games as a pro. That kind of stat says a lot to me. Redzone turnovers show a QB's guile and resolve in the most important situations. The right decisions there can win or lose games. Coupled with his trend for exceptional play, I think he could make a run at being a legend if he holds up and is able to have capable receivers and blockers around. I don't think he is going to smash a bunch of records though, but that is because Brett was padding or breaking his records for three years with Aaron on the bench.
