Wow. Very stingy is Strikeforce. Congrats on the win Cyborg.

Looking at this is why i shake my head at people who want to believe that Strikeforce can take the Affliction route. Affliction paid far more money for just Matt Lindland vs. Vitor Belfort than Strikeforce spent on their entire card. I bet Strikeforce probably brought in more money for this event as well.

If that's right, then Mousasi will never fight in the UFC because apparently he'd rather fight for peanuts then sign an exclusive contract.

UFC never offered him a contract and even if they did. He was still under contract to DREAM and they would not allow that.

Get real, strikeforce is a legitimate company that could go out of business for such tax fraud. A typo is the only reasonable explanation.

Lol. Dude, they did not pay him only 2K to co headline their show. You get real. There is more possibilties outside of a typo. Like M-1 could be paying most of it. They gave him more money upfront. Obviously these fighter salaries released are not official anything. He made his money. No way he signs on to be tied with Isiah Hill for the lowest paid fighter on the card.

Actually, im pretty sure it is M-1 paying Mousasi the majority of his payout. Remember Fedor only got paid 300K from Affliction but go paid well over a million overall because M-1. So, it's on the up and up.

M-1 obviously paid his salary for that fight.

You know Cyborg had to be thrilled to show that the hype train that was Gina was a joke... Five times the salary to a fighter with five times less ability... WOW. And only a 5K win bonus? What was Gina's if she'd won?... 95% owner stake in the company?
