who could gsp beat at 185?

all this talk about anderson vs gsp IMO I think gsp gets owned so who would he pair up well against that the spider has run through or will run through.

I think he would have trouble with most of them so to say he should fight the spider is a joke IMO. gsp even said he would have to prepare right for this fight to have a shot so you heard it from the man.

It's tough to call since he's never been at 185... Skillset for skillset, I think that Hendo followed by Marquardt are his stiffest challenges. I don't think GSP can hang with Silva at 185 either, but hopefully we will find out before Silva hangs 'em up.

Akiyama didn't even beat Belcher, I wouldn't give good odds on him stopping GSP.

His toughest challenge would be Hendo, but I voted for bring on Spider.

While these fights are long ago, Carlos Newton who was significantly smaller, and Wanderlei Silva both took Hendo down easily. Newton slammed Hendo once and lost that super close decision, Wandy kept him on his back for an entire fight almost.

As much as Hendo gets taken down, I think GSP certainly could and could control a fight with takedowns. This is GSP we're talking about, and Hendo is anything but immune to those.

GSP could hang with anyone at 185 apart from Spider. BJ Penn all over again.

I think GSP can hang . But i can see him losing a few of those fights as well. Like Hendo, Nate The Great, and of course the Spider.

U might be right Wolf but if GSP goes in for a takedown and Hendo lands a nice shot its over quick. So I think with Hendos size advantage he can use his takedown d to keep GSP at bay.

GSP aint Bisping and he won't land that shot on him. GSP via SD.

I would pick him. Could Hendo win? Of course, but with GSP's wrestling and ability to control his opponents on the ground he can beat anyone who is at least close to his size.

I think he would get a reminder that he is the best WELTERWEIGHT in the world, but I don't think he can hang with the big boys. GSP doesn't have the power to hurt Hendo, I think everyone knows that. I don't see GSP being to hold Hendo down, take him down yes, hold him down no. But that is just how I see it.

GSP's game is not contingent on his power striking. He takes guys down, controls them, and wears them out with the most effective GnP this side of Fedor. He's quicker than Dan and I wouldn't be surprised at all if he's just as strong as Dan. The guy is a shitbrickhouse. Like I said, Dan may win it but I would put my money on Rush.
