| I just don't know if whack-whack-whack is quite ready for the far more experienced tough guy. I just don't know.
Your point on Darchynian at 118 is a good one and Vic is now what? 34-35? That's VERY old for a bantam. He could well be fading at this poiint.
I think this is a really risky fight for Mares. |

| If Mares goes to the body, the body, the body, the body, early, then I think he will win the fight going away. |

| I gotta favor Vic, he's the puncher and Perez had an easy time finding Mares
But again, Vic's been fighting the best at 115-118, he didnt look that good vs Guerrero and when he moved up to 118 before Agbeko handled him
Not sure if Mares can pull it off |

| i think that mares can pull it off. if this were more of vics prime years then it would a different story. a think that mares' youth can outwork vic and win a close UD |

| I lean towards Mares who's the better all round fighter. |

| Well I heard Vic had tons of trouble against Barcelona (at 118 in his last fight), a club fighter at best. Mares is a top Contender and should be the IBF Bantom champ. Mares showed he has the ability to compete in the highest level, but he doesnt have a lot of power behind his shots like a 118 pound Rafa Marquez. I consider Mares a poor mans Marquez, but he is still highly skilled.
Im on the same boat as Rum, Mares will dominate Darchinyan. If Mares can handle Vics lead left, he'll win the fight. He better not try and duck his head because Vic will tee off with the lead Uppercuts. Everytime I watch Vic fight, those are the only 2 punhes he throws. |

| I like Mares by a lot in this. He just had a tough fight that made him ready for the big stage. I'm sure he can outbox Vic, and I think he'll be able to handle his power. Plus, I think Mares is hungrier, |
