Roger Gracie not fighting on SF in Aug

that's weak. I also thought Shields was a def, but apparently not. Still, 3 very good fights at the top of the card.

IMO Shields should be fighting for the WW title, not Diaz-Riggs.

yeah that sucks but i suppose it was going to be hard to put him on the card. they probably want to have him on the "cbs" card.

I figured they'd want to build him up first. No casual fan knows him.

Still a great card IMO.

Without Grim, Shields and now Gracie(and all 3 were rumored) it does not compare. Yet I expect Cyborg vs Gina to be fight of the year caliber.

NO way 2 chicks stand a chance in fight of the year.

I hope Gracie is as promising as his hype. I think strikeforce is a good place for him to build his experience hopefully they get more talent in his weight class.

Why not? The chick's always throw down, and these are the 2 best girls in the world. And even if there is a bias that keeps them from winning such an award, it would not stand in the way of the fight be FOY caliber.

Ya Strikeforce had to pull back a bit. Blowing their load for the next six months isn't a great idea.
