I'm buying this. Unless i find a decent stream. Wish the undercard was a little better.

Toney came in at 237lb on the scales today.

That sad part about this Tremendous match up is the fact that I have not seen a single piece of promotion for the fight! If it wasn't for Slick commenting about the fight on the James Toney vs Couture thread I would have totally forgot about this fight! Iron Boy is slowing down a bit and the hard hitting kid will push him hard! Of course I am pulling for the Mexican but respect for the Iron boy for his skill and greatness that has been overlooked because of his weight class!

So true, Calderon has had a very good career and is to be commended. I wish he would have gotten more recognition over the years, but it is difficult when you get to the lowest few weight classes.

Just look at Roman Gonzalez, the kid hit likes a mule but is ignored because of his weight class.

I have a serious marketing suggestion. When the little guys are fighting go with a bottom two ropes only ring and find a really short ref. I think one thing that hurts is it is so clear just how tiny these men are. Create a bit of an optical illusion.

The height doesn't bother me at all, it's still two athletes inside the ring ready to battle. Joe Pesci isn't that tall and yet he still comes across as an intimidating badass in Casino and Goodfellas.
