| Jacare.
This thread reminds me that Jacare vs. Santiago is a realistic fight because Coker was talking about adding him to the middleweight tournament about a month ago. They have access to Santiago it appears and i would not be the least bit suprised to see that be Jacare's first title defense.

| I think it is interesting between Jacare and Lombard. Jacare has faced stiffer competition lately but I still think Lombard may be better. If they fought, I would pick Hector. | |

| 1. Jacare -- looks really good. Has defeated solid competition and has a skill-set that could threaten the division's tops.
2. Lombard -- lots of wins and a scary skill-set, but strength of schedule is weak.
3. Santiago -- Nice skill-set, but not a great recent strength of schedule, and shows the same problems that plagued him in the UFC before he was released. | |
