How so? In most people's eyes I've seen it's made it more likely if anything. If Lashley flattened Griggs as he was on his way to, people would be screaming for fights with Cormier, Rogers and other contenders, but with this loss it makes a fight with Batista much more compelling.

because he in no way shape or form deserves to be fighting for a major org. He has no striking, no grasp of submissions whatsoever, and doesn't have enough cardio to make it through 2 rounds.
