Yeah whats funny is they are saying bolt was not in shape but Gay is the one coming off an injury. I just think Gay is going to get faster. Bolt has some comp. I read an article at the beginning of the summer were Gay said he was at least a year away from getting back to were he could compete with bolt. I guess Gay was wrong. It only took him 4 months.

Bolt ran a 9.97. He can run much much faster than that and has much more improvement in him than Gay. When it comes to the worlds and olympics Bolt will win.

+1. Its not like Bolt ran some great time and Gay still beat him. His time was terrible compared to what he normally is. Still the fastest man on the planet. This would make a good storyline going into the next Olympics

it was an exhibition and both guys were payed well to just show up. Take nothing away from gay but its not like it was the Olympics or anything.

You guys act like Gay has never had a good time in the 100 and that he stands no chance at beating Bolt at his best.

I guess maybe some of you guys forget that Gay has run a 9.69 in the past. Its not at Bolt's record time, but that is still good enough to beat Bolt on several occasions.

In reality it only matters what form a runner is in, during the year of the World Championships and the year of the Olympics.
