Question about torrents

Does it slow you down when you download more torrents at one time. I think yes since you would be using more bandwidth. Of course it could be the leechers? I am downloading a show right now and it is broke up into like 1.5 GB and I am downloading four of them and it is taking forever and there are not many leechers at all.

It could be a combination of Leechers and what program your using to download the torrents. Some file managers are faster than others. Some file managers bog your shit though.

Usually it DL slow because of leechers, but this is older and it had 16-25 seeders and like 2-3 leechers. I have always used utorrent to DL torrents and they always go fast when the stats are like I listed. I have been waiting for about 5 hours now. I mean it is about 6-6.5 GB so maybe that is it, but they are broke up into 4 groups???

how much is left? sometimes mine take a whole night.

My speed is supposed to be 10meg and I don't think I have ever got over 1.5

One of them is done, one will be in 15 minutes, and the other two are still at like 50kbs and around 6 hours away.

It's because your doing them all at once. One at a time and they go alot faster. Your essentially trying to open four different open connections to download from four different sources at the same time. It's like splitting your cable 5 ways.
