bird foreman also fought greg peralta twice..snipes and shavers both came close to kaoing holmes..as champion thoses were his only knockdowns in the title fight with tyson we can add 2 more.but he wasnt champ

frank i dont know what you mean by the soul brothers unless your talking 1972 when ali made his comback and his first fight was against jerry .ali won on cuts in 3 rds i think.. and on the same card mike fought bob foster for the LH title and was koed i think in 7..

dmar, There was a great card in Vegas in 1972. Bob Foster vs. Mike Quarry: Ali vs. Jerry Quarry. It was called, "The Soul Brothers vs. The Quarry Brothers." Bob knocked out Mike in 4 rounds. Ali and Jerry met for the 2nd time with Ali scoring a 7th round TKO.
