He doesn't look that old. The only feature on him that looks that old is his nose.

Good move. Show is starting to get stale and he's got movies and shit to fall back on

they were milking it for way to long imo, they should end it after next season

Last episode of the office with Michael Scott is this week, I think Ferrel has done a great job, going to miss Michael, will be interesting to see who they bring on to fill his shoes, I do think the show is close to an end, soon Jim will leave for movies, Dwight tries to make movies, but oh not so good, check out Super, just like Kick Ass,cept not as good

Ferrell signed on for I believe 4 episodes, 2 with Carrell, 1 when he leaves and 1 after he leaves

Jim Carey will also make an appearance on one show

I read that Gervais is a big fan of Will Arnett, wonder if he'll come in to replace Carell.

Jim Carey, that could be very interesting, coming back to TV after know one saw his last movie, Arnett could be good, very funny dude, his last tv show outing on fox didn't go so well, needs to take some lessons from his wife

Honestly this show is stale as fuck even with Carell still there. They should just call it

I was gonna make a thread about how shitty it is the show show is coming to an end. I mean yeah maybe a little stale at this point, but still a great show, it should go up there with Seinfeld ect....I've actually been watching sme old seasons lately remembering how great it is. I personally don't think the show can carry on withut Carell, guy owned that part, and a guy like Arnett couldn't carry that role IMO.

Spin City, 8 Simple Rules, hmmmmm........ That 70's Show because technically Eric Foreman was the lead.

Never heard of 8 Simple rules, but Spin City lasted 2 seasons max after Fox and wasn't big on the 70's show, but sometimes I catch it on FX, and it's pretty weak in the post Foreman era.

Point is, it'll be hard to carry on the show past Carell unless they get the perfect replacement.
