Biggest busts in MMA..past and present

Since the NBA draft was tonight it got me thinkiing of guys who were considered can't miss but turned out to be competle busts in MMA

Kirill Sidelnikov- Baby Fedor? People were talking this guy up pretty good and obviously with a nickname Baby Fedor, there are expectations. Buentello of all people made him look slow and pathetic in an extremely one sided beatdown and he has put together are fairly weak record for a "baby fedor" at 6-4 considering he has fought very weak competition in the process.

Sokoudjou- No reason this guy should suck so bad. He looked like the next big thing knocking Rogerio and Arona the fuck out...now he's taking dives for Minowaman and has almost zero credibility. Probably the fastest dive from the hottest prospect on the planet to one of the biggest punchlines in the sport.

Phillipe Nover. Dana White was calling him the new Anderson Silva.

Brandon Vera

Vera for sure, Soko gets a thumbs up, but number one for me is Keith Jardine. I expected more from him.

+1 LC! I forgot about Kerr and GG. Guida can still be great, but he has to improve his game to make it happen and he seems unable to do that.

soko just gave Gegard one hell of a fight. Not a top ten bust if you ask me.

Horn had two title fights in the UFC, lost both, and held like 30 minor titles. Not sure he's really a bust since athletically he isn't very gifted at all, and he has more wins than almost anyone.

More on this level would be Pedro Rizzo, who has a boatload of great victories over HW legends but lost three UFC title fights and then lost his chin.

Akebono. Some expected him to do marginally well, but he became one of the biggest freakshows in history.
