Askren ended up at 174 ,Hendricks at 165
rumors where Askren wrestled him with a bum ankle too | |

| Considering i had Marius Zaromskis #10 in my last set of rankings, don't be suprised if i feel obligated to put someone as impressive as Ben Askren #10...like LA said on expectations pretty much, i'm so impressed with Funky that i'd be hard pressed to think of more than 10 guys i would pick against him...but Martin Kampmann will be making a leap into my top 10 and i'm not moving Paulo Thiago out of the top 10 just yet, so Ben Askren might end up being a notable in my rankings..we'll cross that bridge when we get there though. | |

| I've maintained Thiago was overrated since he started fighting in the UFC. The Swick win swayed me finally. However even compared to his earlier fights he looked especially bad against Kampmann.
Mental note - trust your instincts on overated fighters like Mir and Thiago. | |
